This car was discovered in an ad in 2002 and, since the VIN was not known, it was assigned the first of a bunch of numbers, so it could be kept apart from other "unknown" cars. This one became u001.   It 2016, the heir of the owner (likely who bought the car in 2002) was in touch with the following

 International Model:2 door Glassic 2s convertible. Year 1966 . Vin # 161. color ext. Teal  / Gold with white convertible top. Interior Teal with white piping. Engine 2.8 multi port . with automatic transmission. Special options: bucket seats full gauge package, am /fm/ cassette stereo system, antenna, full running boards with spare tires carriers, windshield wipers , rear view mirror, dual outside rear view mirrors, chrome headlights, temp gauge , radiator cap, dual cowl lights side curtains windshield tilts, side vent windows, dual exhaust, wire hubcaps, wood chest for storage, chrome ribbed bumpers. Bought in 2002, has had $10,000 worth of upgrades. This was inherited, so this summer I will enjoy riding around old Glen Burnie town, MD.
