Information about this car.

Car 1112 is the same car as car u043 - a (previously) unknown VIN car that had been spotted on a TV two-night movie about Bonnie and Clyde.

First, the car (VIN 1112) was reported, without pictures, by its owner in 2004.

I was interested in an original phaeton for several years. During my research I found out about the Glassic cars. Since my goal was to have a daily driver the Glassic seemed my best bet. I found mine on eBay: one owner with 4000 miles located 650 miles away. I made my deal and flew to Dallas, met the owner and drove it home that day. I have put 8000 miles on it made a few changes and love driving it daily. David Gluth

In 2015, the new owner, Al, registered the car, and it looked familiar. In checking, he confirmed that this was, indeed, the movie car.
